Review: Toyota 2013 RAV4 Limited AWD SUV

Let it snow. Let it snow. Let it snow. I was singing this song as I drove the RAV4 Limited AWD SUV through treacherous weather. I was so happy to test drive this car in one of the first big snow storms of the season.

Slipping and sliding was kept to a minimum, and that helped me to feel more in control. The six-speed automatic transmission has dynamic torque control and 4-wheel disc brakes. The stability control provided balance on uneven roads and the traction control helped the car adjust to the unpredictability of winter driving. With all of the safety, mechanical and performance features in place, I was able to enjoy the comfort and

convenience of the dual zone climate control with air filter.

This RAV4, which comes in colors like Shoreline Blue Pearl Black, features power heated outside mirrors. No reason to roll down the window to brush the ice and snow away and get a blast of frostbite. Another welcome feature during the winter was the driver and front passenger heated seats. The MSRP $28,410; the MPG is 22/29 city/highway. The next time you’re out and about in a snow storm, don’t be surprised at the RAV4s all around you.
